I came to this course because I want to learn how to manage my cats coats at home. I have long hair and short hair cats and really don’t know how to look after their coats.
Those 2 day I was taught how to cut the nails and comb a long haired and short haired cats. It was a very big experience for me, before I never had experience with different cats.It was really interesting days for me. Now I will be very confident with my own cats at home and I will be to groom them myself.
Edita was a very good teacher, she taught me every step. I felt very confident with her. She is very professional. Also I like school manager Elena. She is super helpful and nice person.

After doing a bit of research and talking to other cat groomers, I could see that the Cat Grooming School offered so much more than a comprehensive training course. I booked into the Foundation course to see if cat grooming was for me and also just to learn basic techniques to better look after my own long-haired cat.
I was hooked after the Foundation Course and knew that I wanted to carry on with the full course to become a Master Cat Groomer. It is an intense course but Svetlana and the team were flexible enough to teach me around my full time job.
I mostly trained with Edita who was an amazing mentor. She didn’t go easy on me, but she gave me incredible support and constructive feedback that I needed to learn and master the skills to become a Master Cat Groomer.
It was tough and you need to be open to the feedback they give you but I can guarantee if you put the effort in, Svetlana and Edita will give you a set of skills and knowledge that will open up a whole new world for you. You will also have much more practical training that you would on any other course. I have now set up my own business and loving my new career path.

Decision to have a change of career and become a cat groomer was one of the best decisions in my life. I want to thank Cat Grooming School team from the bottom of my heart – Svetlana, Edita and Elena – for being so supportive in my journey to become “Master Cat Groomer”.
Step by step, under the close supervision and professional guidance of Edita and Svetlana, I learned all aspects of grooming: from how to properly clean cat’s ears and clip their nails to how to work with a clipper and handle difficult cats.
And all of this was with A LOT of practice and honing the cat grooming techniques. At the end of every day, I felt my progress and gained more and more confidence.
Learning new things is never easy, and for me it was mentally and physically challenging path full of surprises, joy and even tears, couple of times. But it was worth it every second.
Right now I feel confident in my skills. I know how to handle different kinds of cats and how to make grooming experience more pleasant for my fluffy clients.
