At a crossroads in my life, I was looking for a new vocation that would be both stimulating and rewarding. I’ve always been a passionate cat lover, so when someone suggested professional cat grooming, I decided to pursue a new dream. After researching where I could train to become a professional cat groomer, the London School of Cat Grooming stood out with the most comprehensive hands-on training.
I’ve learned so many skills from Svetlana, received outstanding practical tuition from Edita, and have immensely enjoyed my time in the salon. I was welcomed as part of the cat grooming family and supported every step of the way. I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Cat Grooming School.
Although I am already an accomplished dog groomer, cat grooming is my passion. The two are very different, and after my time training and practicing on nearly 80 cats, I feel much more confident in my ability to groom felines of all sizes, coat types, and temperaments.
I have been given tips and techniques to run a financially successful, hygienic, and safe cat grooming business.
Edita has been kind and patient with me while I was learning, and I am sure I will miss my weekly trips to the Cat Grooming School. It has been an altogether enlightening experience that I cannot recommend enough.

Having run a cattery in southern Ireland for 4 years I could see the benefits of looking into a cat grooming course. As there is no such courses available in Ireland I looked to the UK and was lucky enough to fall upon Svetlana’s cat grooming school. Svetlana was able to accommodate me completing the beginner, intermediate and master level courses around my flights over to London which made the process so much easier for me.
Edita who was with me every step of the way is just the most beautiful person and I know we will be friends for a long time. Her patience, attention to detail and dedication is phenomenal and I will be forever grateful for all she has taught me. I can honestly say I felt like part of the team during the masters course and it was emotional finishing on my last day.
The training allows students to deal with all different situations which is so important for when we are qualified and the added support if needed is really important.
I would highly recommend anyone thinking of training as a cat groomer to study with this school and I have thoroughly enjoyed it.

I’ve just graduated as a Master Cat Groomer with the Cat Grooming School.
I started with the Foundation course in February and I can’t believe how far I have come! Its been a crazy journey but I have learnt so much about cat grooming (obviously) but also about myself.
Edita, my tutor has been absolutely amazing! She’s so kind and patient and has been there from day one being so supportive. Her knowledge and experience has been key to me being able to go from strength to strength with my own grooming.
Elena, the salon manager has also been a superstar making me feel so welcome with unending positivity and support. Svetlana was so kind and helpful during our phone conversations and I had the pleasure of meeting her at the salon on a couple of occasions.
I’m looking forward to completing the business course with her soon! Svetlana has built the most amazing school in the UK and continues to help and support so many cats and their owners. I was so happy to have been accepted by Svetlana to study at the Cat Grooming School and am honoured to now count myself among it’s elite graduates!
